Cyber cafes are never required to register for regularisation.
Internet cafes are no longer permitted to register candidates for the UTME or DE, however they are still exempt from registering candidates for regularisation. This indicates that, contrary to what you may have read or heard elsewhere, they were previously permitted to do it.

They were not to register candidates for regularisation for a period of time. JAMB knows the reason behind this the best. Therefore, those who are ready to apply for JAMB regularisation should steer clear of any café that makes such a claim.

Only JAMB Offices and Approved CBT Centres May Be Used.

As you may have imagined, the only offices and facilities authorised for regularisation are the CBT centres and JAMB headquarters across the country.

In fact, if you ask for my honest recommendation, I’ll tell you to employ the JAMB office’s services. It is advised that the JAMB official manage regularisation based on my experience.

Different cases are involved in regularisation. Some may include unlawful entry, some may involve hidden entry, others may involve disparities in the admissions offered, etc. Therefore, before selecting the best alternative for you, a JAMB official will understand you and ask the appropriate questions. I can speak from experience when I say that a novice CBT centre employee might select the incorrect regularisation option for you!

Similar to this, CBT centres may not always be permitted based on what JAMB has planned for the current admissions year. These limitations, however, will not apply to the board’s offices.
